Creative Coding / 2020

Final Project idea:

for my final project i am going to expand on a past project that i made in this class. I want to use my landscape sketch (below) to make a portrait of the Atlanta cityscape. i am quarantining in midtown and want to stare out the window and draw, so i decided to code the movement of the city and potentially make a game. i am imagining using perlin noise to show the calmness of the lights and movements. if i end up making a game it would be almost like a very simplified sims game where there are interactive actions and you can control the perspective.

midterm project

The locaton of the mouse determines the time of day and slightly changes the scenery.

The hardest part will be coding

the water and moving lights on the highway

I love urban artwork and big cities so I wanted to draw a sketch with a focus on city landscapes

Or what I might see if I lived in a skyscraper penthouse :P.

for this project i made a circuit that was meant to be an indicator of compatability. If two people pick the same color, then thet LED would light up! I wasnt able to complete the project so instead drew what would have happened if everything ran smoothly! The image above is my result :)
